Prayer

Per the Gospel of Matthew the sacred and official prayer of the Scholae Palatinae is in the words of Saint Jerome as found in the Codex Amiatinus:

Pater noster qui es in caelis sanctificetur nomen tuum, adveniat regnum tuum, fiat voluntas tua sicut in caelo et in terra, panem nostrum supersubstantialem da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nost dimittimus debitoribus nostris, et ne inducase nos in temtationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
